Michael Andrade

Michael Andrade is Senior Vice President, Strategic Business Development. In this role, he supports the company's strategy, marketing, sales, corporate development and solutions development teams. Mr. Andrade joined Celestica from IBM in 1994 as part of the company's original management team, and has since held positions of increasing responsibility with the company. Prior to his current role, he was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Celestica's Communications Group. His diverse experience spans engineering, finance, operations management, mergers and acquisitions and commodity management. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree from the University of Western Ontario, a Master of Business Administration degree from York University in Ontario, and is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.

 

Bob Beauchamp
President and CEO
BMC Software, Inc.

Robert "Bob" Beauchamp is president and chief executive officer of BMC Software (NYSE: BMC), a leading global enterprise management solutions company.

Joining the company in 1988 as a sales executive, Beauchamp rose rapidly, serving in key leadership positions in research and development, strategic marketing and corporate development. Named to lead BMC in 2001, Beauchamp led the company's highly successful transformation from a mainframe tools vendor to one that delivers the industry's most strategic enterprise management and automation solutions, enabling customers to automate their IT and prove its business value. For the four fiscal quarters ended December 31, 2007, BMC revenue was approximately $1.7 billion.

Beauchamp currently serves on the boards of National Oilwell Varco, Memorial-Hermann Hospital System, Texas Medical Center and the New York Stock Exchange's International Advisory Committee. He serves in a number of prominent industry and civic organizations.

Beauchamp holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master of Science degree in management from Houston Baptist University.


Gene Frantz

Gene J. Frantz – Mr. Frantz is a partner of TPG. Prior to joining TPG in 1999, Mr. Frantz worked at Oracle Corporation, most recently leading its venture capital effort, where he was responsible for making equity investments in software and internet companies. Prior to joining Oracle Corporation, Mr. Frantz was Vice President at Morgan Stanley specializing in technology mergers and acquisitions spanning the semiconductor, data networking, software and internet sectors. Mr. Frantz received an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Frantz serves or has served on the boards of directors of Alltel Corporation, Avaya Corporation, Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc., Network General Corporation, Paradyne Networks, Inc. (now part of Zhone Technologies, Inc.), Seagate Removable Storage Solutions Holdings and SMART Modular Technologies (WWH), Inc.

Steven Geller
Managing Director

Steven Geller is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse within the Investment Banking division, based in New York. He is responsible for advising technology companies with respect to mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Geller has advised both multi-national and domestic clients on numerous, complex M&A assignments in transactions valued at over US$175 billion, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, special committee assignments, dual class and targeted stock plans, proxy contests and hostile transactions.

Notable transactions include the $70 billion acquisition of TCI by AT&T, the $8.2 billion sale of Avaya to Silverlake and TPG, the $6.9 billion sale of Scientific-Atlanta to Cisco, the $5.4 billion acquisition of CarnaudMetalbox by Crown, Cork & Seal, the $3.3 billion sale of Diamond Fields to Inco, the $2.2 billion sale of Asarco to Grupo Mexico, the $1.7 billion merger between ChipPac and ST Assembly, the defense of Chrysler Corporation from Tracinda's $50 billion unsolicited offer and the defense of Thyssen from Fried. Krupp's $10 billion unsolicited offer.

Mr. Geller joined Credit Suisse in 1994. He holds a degree from Duke University where he studied economics and Japanese.

 

Jonathan Korngold
Managing Director

Jonathan Korngold is a Managing Director at General Atlantic LLC, where he has worked since 2001.  Mr. Korngold recently returned from General Atlantic’s London office and is now based in the firm's Greenwich, CT headquarters, where he heads General Atlantic's global Healthcare sector. 


More generally, Mr. Korngold has extensive experience with technology-enabled services companies and has specific expertise in working with business process outsourcing, transaction processing, government services, financial services, and healthcare-related businesses. In his capacity as a Managing Director, Mr. Korngold has worked closely with many of the firm's public and private portfolio companies and is currently a Board member of Emdeon Business Services.


Prior to joining General Atlantic, Mr. Korngold was a member of Goldman Sachs’s Principal Investment Area and Mergers & Acquisitions groups in London and New York, respectively. Mr. Korngold received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated with a B.A. in Economics with Honors from Harvard College. In addition, Mr. Korngold has spent extensive time in China, where he studied Mandarin Chinese at Peking University.


Mr. Korngold is an active member in the community and is involved in a number of educational and non-profit organizations, including DonorsChoose.org, The Echoing Green Foundation, StreetWise Partners and the Central Park Conservancy.

 

Alex Slusky
Managing Partner
Vector Capital

Alex Slusky is the founder and Managing Partner of Vector Capital.  His areas of expertise include infrastructure and applications software, internet services, corporate spinouts, and technology buyouts.

Alex currently serves on the boards of Corel Corporation (Nasdaq: CREL), SafeNet Inc., Register.com, and Watchguard Technologies. Prior to their acquisitions, Alex was also a director of Savi Technology (acquired by Lockheed Martin),  LANDesk Software (acquired by Avocent) and NetGravity (acquired by DoubleClick).  Alex also led Vector's investments in RealNetworks (NASDAQ:RNWK), Acuity (acquired by Avaya), and Extricity Software (acquired by Peregrine).

Prior to Vector, Alex led the technology equity practice at Ziff Brothers Investments, managing a portfolio of public and private technology investments. Before joining Ziff Brothers, Alex was at New Enterprise Associates, focusing on venture investments in software, communications, and digital media. Prior to NEA, Alex was a consultant at McKinsey & Company and a product manager at Microsoft Corporation.

Alex has a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude from Harvard University, and an MBA with high distinction (Baker Scholar) from the Harvard Business School.
