Rick Burton

Rick Burton, an internationally respected marketing executive with 30 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industries, joined the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as the organization’s Chief Marketing Officer on October 1, 2007. Burton previously served as commissioner of the National Basketball League (NBL) in Sydney, Australia, for four years prior to joining the USOC.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Burton directs the USOC’s Sales and Marketing Division, including the development and implementation of corporate sponsorship programs designed to deliver maximum return-on-investment to the USOC’s family of corporate partners. Burton will also work closely with USOC Chief Operating Officer Norman Bellingham in creating the revenue streams necessary to support the USOC’s digital media initiatives. He will also be a member of the USOC’s Chicago 2016 Integration Team.
As commissioner of the National Basketball League, Burton directed an expansion of the league to include 13 teams in three countries (Australia, New Zealand and Singapore). He also led the successful negotiation of a five-year television rights agreement with Fox Sports, through which the NBL doubled its annual revenue from television rights fees, and increased overall league revenue from non-licensee sources by 140 percent.
Prior to his tenure with the National Basketball League, Burton was the executive director of the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center in the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon, which was named by Sports Illustrated as the best sports management school in the country in 2002. While in Oregon, Burton headed up the Burton Marketing Group. He consulted or worked on behalf of global brands and sports properties including the National Football League, National Hockey League, USA Track & Field, Nike, Visa and IMG.
Burton started his career in the Syracuse University Athletic Department before becoming a sports reporter for the Syracuse Post-Standard from 1978-1980. He joined the Miller Brewing Company in 1980, first in public relations and later brand management, advertising and marketing. After 12 years at Miller, Burton was named vice president at Clarion Performance Properties, a sports and entertainment marketing agency in Greenwich, Conn. His clients at Clarion included National Football League Properties (NFLP), Reebok, Sprint, Gillette and Universal Studios.
He and his wife Barbara have three children: Stephanie, Andrew and Meredith.
David Christopher

David Christopher is chief marketing officer for AT&T's wireless unit, responsible for all aspects of marketing direction and execution. He leads marketing strategy, wireless advertising and media, customer lifecycle management, product management, national promotions and pricing. Prior to his role as chief marketing officer, he served as vice president of Product Management for voice products, devices and affiliate services for AT&T’s wireless unit. His responsibilities included developing and managing the company’s portfolio of voice products and enhanced services, and driving the company’s strategy and selection of devices to better integrate voice and data services for a simple and enhanced user experience.
Before joining AT&T, Christopher worked at Palm, serving most recently as vice president – Product Marketing and Management with responsibility for the team that defines, develops and manages all Palm-branded product lines worldwide from concept through end of life.
A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Christopher earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
Jeffrey Hayzlett

Jeffrey Hayzlett serves as the Chief Business Officer and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. The position was established in September 2007 and filled by Mr. Hayzlett. In this role, he has responsibility for Corporate and Product Public Relations, Communications and Public Affairs, Brand Management, Corporate Sponsorships, Market Development, Corporate Relationships, Business Development, and Partnerships.
Mr. Hayzlett is currently a member of the board of directors of the Business Marketing Association (BMA), the Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF) and is on the advisory board of the CMO Council. He is chairman of the Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI) Foundation for Marketing Education, and is a permanent trustee to the SMEI Academy of Achievement Sales and Marketing Hall of Fame. He is also a two-term past chairman of SMEI. Mr. Hayzlett remains a trustee of Pi Sigma Epsilon National Education Foundation, a sales and marketing fraternity.
Mr. Hayzlett has received numerous top marketing awards and honors, including the global Frost & Sullivan Lifetime Achievement Award for marketing achievement, and he was recently named by B2B Magazine as a Top 10 Business to Business Marketer in the world. In the graphic arts industry he has been honored as the International Business Person of the Year Award by the International Printers’ Network (IPN), received The British Association for Print and Communication (BAPC) Honorary Life Member award, and the National Association of Quick Printing (NAQP) Industry Award of Distinction. Mr. Hayzlett has also been named, Entrepreneur of the Year, by the U.S. Small Business Association.
Steve Moya

Steve Moya serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Humana, with responsibility for the company’s broad-based communications, marketing and branding efforts. Steve has been instrumental in driving consumerism throughout Humana’s communications.
Prior to coming to Humana, Steve was Vice President of Strategic Planning and Communications for Los Angeles-based LatinWorks Marketing, and a principal with Growth Strategies Consulting, a macro-market planning company that uses trend analysis to build business strategy. To both of these positions he brought 20 years of communications and critical-analysis expertise to assist businesses with managing change and leveraging information for growth.
Prior to the formation of LatinWorks Marketing, Steve founded Moya, Selbert Communications Consulting, formerly known as Moya Villanueva & Associates, a public relations firm that provided communication strategy in the areas of corporate and Hispanic communications, marketing and public affairs. Recognized as a business leader in the Hispanic community, Steve built one of the largest and most respected ethnic public relations firms in the United States.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Affairs from the University of Southern California and has completed graduate-level Urban Planning courses at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
