Adam has spent his twenty plus year career in various global human resources management roles at world class companies.
He served as Senior Vice President - Human Resources for Reliance Life Companies United Pacific Life. At global banking leader Citibank, Adam was Vice President Human Resources and Leadership Development for the U.S. and Europe Consumer Bank, at the time the largest group within Citibank (25,000 employees). From 1997 to 2004, Adam served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for CIGNA International and is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer (Senior Vice President - Global Human Resources) for Elizabeth Arden Inc.
Adam is a graduate of Cornell University's School of Industrial & Labor Relations.

Judy Edge
Corporate Vice President Human Resources
FedEx Corporation
Judith H. Edge is Corporate Vice President, Human Resources for FedEx Corporation, a $34 billion global transportation and business services holding company. She is responsible for leading the Human Resources function for FedEx Corporation, which includes executive development, employee benefits strategies, and executive compensation.
FedEx has been widely acknowledged for its commitment to total quality service and has consistently been ranked on Fortune magazine’s industry lists, including “World’s Most Admired Companies” and “America’s Most Admired Companies.”
Edge is an adjunct member of the FedEx Strategic Management Committee, which is responsible for developing and reviewing the corporation’s strategic business activities. She joined the company in 1983 as a Customer Service Representative, and has held a variety of Human Resources positions throughout her FedEx career.
Born in 1961 in Pittsburgh, PA Edge earned her master’s degree in business administration from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Professionals and WorldatWork Organization.

Jim Heston
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
MetLife
James N. Heston is Executive Vice President of Human Resources at MetLife. In this position, Heston is responsible for all of MetLife’s human resources operations, which support more than 48,000 associates in 17 countries located in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia/Pacific. Heston was appointed to this position in December 2005.
Heston joined MetLife in 1970 and has since taken on roles of increasing responsibilities within the company’s business operations and human resources organization. In December 2003, Heston was appointed Senior Vice President of Human Resources where he led all U.S.-based human resources functions. This included responsibility of all key human resources policies and programs, service operations supporting domestic employees, and licensing support for all U.S. sales organizations. As well, Heston managed the human resources generalists and learning operations directly serving MetLife’s lines of business and major staff departments.
Previously, Heston was responsible for MetLife’s compensation and benefits programs, and human resources systems and operations. He directed significant changes to MetLife’s total compensation program, introducing stock compensation, a new consumer-driven health care approach and a revamped pension program that was consistent with the company’s performance-driven culture.
For the six-year period ending February 2000, Heston was the business head for MetLife’s group dental business, and later its group disability business within the company’s institutional business segment. Both businesses grew substantially during his leadership tenure.
Heston holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gettysburg College and a master’s degree in business policy from Columbia University. He is a member of the board of trustees of Somerset Medical Center in Somerset, New Jersey and chairman of its human resources committee. He is also a member of the Personnel Round Table.

Paul Kirincic
Executive Vice President, Corporate Human Resources
McKesson
Paul E. Kirincic is Executive Vice President of Corporate Human Resources and Corporate Communications at McKesson Corporation. In this position, Kirincic is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s human resources organization, which includes the McKesson global workforce of more than 32,000 employees.
Kirincic’s extensive background includes 32 years in various human resources functions. Prior to joining McKesson in February 2001, he was with Pfizer Corporation where he served as Vice President, Human Resources in the Consumer Health Division. In that role, Kirincic led a change management process to create a new division governance model and executive team model. Kirincic’s career is highlighted by a 23-year tenure at Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor, Michigan, where he served in a variety of positions, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for Whirlpool Europe.
Kirincic holds a BA in history and communications from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin and an MS in business administration from Indiana University. He is a former member of the Board of Governors of Ohlhoff Recovery Programs in San Francisco and was President of the Board of Governors from 2004-2005. He has been a member of the Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. Board of Directors since June 2005.

Randy MacDonald
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
IBM
Randy MacDonald joined IBM in August 2000 as senior vice president, human resources. In this position he is responsible for the global human resources practices and policies of the organization and reports to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Sam Palmisano.
Prior to joining IBM, Mr. MacDonald was the executive vice president of human resources and administration for GTE (now Verizon Communications).
Mr. MacDonald was with GTE for 17 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility. Before joining GTE, he held human resources positions at Ingersoll-Rand Company and Sterling Drug, Inc.
He serves on the Board of Directors of Covance. He is a member of Cornell University's Center for Advanced Human Resources Study; the RBL Group; the Personnel Roundtable; the HR Policy Association, and serves as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
In 1998, Mr. MacDonald was named a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources, the human resources profession's highest honor for outstanding achievement. He was elected to the Academy's Board of Directors in 2000 and serves as its Vice Chair.
For his contributions to the HR practice throughout his career, including HR-related research and education, Mr. MacDonald received the first Distinguished Human Resource Executive Award from the Academy of Management in 2004.
Mr. MacDonald has a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in industrial relations from St. Francis University in Pennsylvania and is a member of its Board of Trustees; he received the Saint Francis University Distinguished Alumni in Business Award in 1999. Mr. MacDonald also serves as a Trustee of Bucknell University.

Shannon McFayden
Senior Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Corporate Relations
Wachovia
Ms. McFayden joined Wachovia in 1982. Currently she provides leadership to Human Resources, Community Relations and Corporate Communications. She reports directly to Wachovia CEO Ken Thompson and serves on the company’s Operating Committee. Ms. McFayden provides oversight to all of the company’s merger integration efforts, including the recent Golden West transaction that is Wachovia’s largest merger to date, and co-leads a high-visibility plan to reduce annual expenses by $1 billion, including cross-organizational process improvement, outsourcing and off-shoring and revamping the project approval and implementation process. She also oversees the company’s strategic focus on leadership, management, diversity, employee engagement and inclusion.
Previously, Ms. McFayden managed the company’s philanthropic giving and employee involvement programs. She led the cultural integration for the Wachovia/First Union merger and the creation of the company’s core values. Ms. McFayden directed Human Resources Client Services, including relationship teams, compensation, diversity, training and organizational development. She headed Human Resources for Florida during the company’s aggressive acquisition period when more than 30 mergers were consummated. She also managed college recruiting.
Ms. McFayden’s awards and achievements include being named one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking by US Banker. She led the development of Wachovia’s national partnerships with the NAACP and the UNCF. She was the recipient of the United Negro College Fund’s “Maya Angelou Women Who Lead” award. Ms. McFayden initiated Wachovia’s national partnership with Teach For America, the corps of outstanding recent college graduates who commit two years to teaching in underserved schools across the country. She led the development of the Wachovia Teachers & Teaching initiative, which provides funding to organizations that enhance teacher recruitment, development, support and retention, with the goal of increasing student achievement. She also led the creation of WachoivaVolunteers!, an employee-driven community involvement network that supports and enhances employee volunteer initiatives. In addition, Ms. McFayden led the creation of the Wachovia Employees Care Fund (WE Care Fund), a relief fund built by employee contributions, designed to provide emergency grants to employees experiencing personal hardships.
Ms. McFayden is a graduate of Davidson College with a B.A. in Psychology.

John Murabito
Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Services
CIGNA
John Murabito was appointed Executive Vice President of CIGNA Corporation in July 2003 with responsibility for driving growth in CIGNA's businesses through an effective human resources and people strategy. He is responsible for human resources strategy and planning, staffing, talent management and succession processes, as well as compensation and benefits, employee relations, leadership development and training, corporate medical operations, and employee assistance programs. He is also in charge of a variety of corporate-wide administrative areas including, travel, security, purchasing, real estate and other business support services.
Prior to joining CIGNA, Murabito served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Services at Monsanto. His background includes more than 20 years of extensive related experience with the Frito-Lay division of PepsiCo, Symbion, Inc. and The Trane Company.
Murabito is a graduate of Augustana College in Illinois (B.A., 1980) and the University of Iowa (M.A., 1983). He serves on the Boards of Directors of Cornell University's Center for Advanced Human Resources Studies and the University of South Carolina's Riegel & Emory School of Business. He serves as a member of the Human Resources Policy Association, as well as the Human Resources Research Group.

Robert Ostrov
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
ArvinMeritor, Inc.
Rob Ostrov is the senior vice president of Human Resources for ArvinMeritor. In this position, he is responsible for leadership and management of the human resources function for the company’s 19,000 employees at more than 120 locations in 25 countries. Additionally, Ostrov provides strategic focus in employee leadership and development initiatives, compensation, benefits and rewards systems, labor relations, and human resources systems, policies and practices.
Prior to taking this position in September 2006, he was the vice president of Human Resources and Labor Relations for FedEx Ground, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. He previously served as an attorney-at-law with Arnold & Partners, from 2003-05. Prior to that, Ostrov was senior vice president of Human Resources for True Value; he was named to that role in 1997, and concurrent with the position, served as chairman and CEO of True Value of Canada from 1999-2002.
He has also held senior-level positions within Human Resources for companies including General Electric/GE Capital Corp./WIFX Corp. and Wickes Companies, from 1981-97. He was director of Human Resources for Rockwell International, a heritage company of ArvinMeritor, from 1979-81.
Ostrov holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Strategic Planning from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL, and a Juris Doctorate from the Chicago Kent College of Law. He is a member of the Illinois Bar.

Lori Sabet

Lori R. Sabet is Managing Director for Global Human Resources at The Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm based in Washington, DC. Ms. Sabet and her team develop and implement Carlyle’s human resource strategy and initiatives on a global basis, including compensation and rewards, performance management, training and career development, recruitment and retention, leadership and succession planning, and organizational development. Ms. Sabet has extensive experience working with senior management, consulting on leadership and team development, as well as strategies for improving accountability, execution, and performance. Ms. Sabet is actively involved in several human resources organizations and roundtables and is a frequent speaker and panelist on global human resource-related topics. Ms. Sabet earned a B.A. in Public Administration and Human Resources Management from St. Cloud State University and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Marymount University.

Prior to joining us, Mr. Scarfone served as Vice President—Global Human Resources for Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services from February 2005 to June 2006. From 1984 to 2004, Mr. Scarfone worked for Toys “R” Us Inc., holding several senior human resource positions including, from 2002 to 2004, Vice President of Human Resources, International Division.
